SOUL ROW CLUB processes personal data, collected when visiting our web pages, strictly in accordance with the statutory provisions, in particular Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Federal Government (Data Protection Act, DSG). The protection of your personal data and your privacy is very important to us. Personal data is treated strictly confidential and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties. It matters to us that you are aware of which data we store and how we use them (transparency principle). In the following, we briefly explain SOUL ROW CLUB’s processing of your data and how this affects you when using our services.

1. Personal Data
Personal data are individual details about natural persons allowing conclusions about personal, economic or actual circumstances. This includes, for example, address data. Information not directly associated with your identity is not included.

2. Which Data is stored by SOUL ROW CLUB?
Personal data is solely collected if you voluntarily provide it to us when making a booking, register for the newsletter, or make a payment to SOUL ROW CLUB.
For booking SOUL ROW CLUB Services online or making a payment online, you need to create a customer account. When you set up your customer account, SOUL ROW CLUB collects your name, address, e-mail address and, if applicable, your telephone number.

3. How is Data transferred? 
SOUL ROW CLUB uses a secure online transmission method for online bookings, the so-called “Secure Socket Layer” (SSL) transmission, to process your personal data. All data transmitted is encrypted at high level (at least 128 bits, but up to 256 bits with standard browsers) before it is sent to us. This is supposed to ensure that nobody without authorization can access your information.

4. How we use Data?
SOUL ROW CLUB will use the data you provide to fulfill and process the contract for the booking of SOUL ROW CLUB Services. In this context, SOUL ROW CLUB uses the data to inform you about the booked services, the payments made, or any changes to the booked services.
If SOUL ROW CLUB has received your address or e-mail address in connection with the booking of a SOUL ROW Live Online Rowing Class, SOUL ROW CLUB may use this data for direct advertising for other SOUL ROW CLUB Services, unless you have objected to its use. Such objection is possible at any time and can be addressed to: datenschutz@soulrow.ch. In the event of an objection, your customer data and booking receipts will be retained for ten years in accordance with legal obligations, but your data will no longer be used for direct advertising by SOUL ROW CLUB.
When you subscribe to the newsletter, your e-mail address will only be used for SOUL ROW CLUB’s own advertising purposes, up to the point you unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. The link to unsubscribe is found at the end of each newsletter.

5. Is my Data passed onto Third Parties?
Your personal data will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold or passed onto third parties, unless this is necessary for the processing of the payment or for sending documents or items. In this case, we have made agreements with the authorized companies; the agreements ensure compliance with data protection regulations (privacy policies) and the immediate deletion of all data no longer required.
Facebook Plugin: The SOUL ROW CLUB web pages incorporate plugins, functions, or services from the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button on our web pages. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins at: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. When you visit our web page, the plugin establishes a connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like” button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your visit and activity on our web pages with your user account. We would like to emphasize that we, as the provider of the SOUL ROW CLUB web pages, do not have any knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or its use by Facebook. 6. What about Cookies?
The SOUL ROW CLUB web pages use so-called cookies. The latter are small text files that are stored on your device. 7. Tracking of webpage Activity
The SOUL ROW CLUB web pages uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”).
